​I love flowers. Painting them delights me. For me, the drama and boldness of a flower viewed up-close is an intimate, almost sensual experience.
Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe, I strive to capture the personality and vibrancy of flowers. The play between light and shadows, the use of strong colours and an attention to structure and form result in tightly rendered paintings.
